You may not have
always said your prayers
on bended knee
but I am certain that
many of the prayers you whispered
you did so for me
You were not one
to go to church every Sunday
and often you questioned
your faith
nonetheless
you prayed to God
in the quiet hours of the night
and believed your prayers did reach Him
and in doing so gave others the hope
that theirs did too.
