and knew from that moment...

there are so many things for which I am grateful
most of all, my beloved family and devoted friends
each day I pray for that they are all safe and happy
each day I pray they all know how important they are to me,
now, and always.

This Time Last Year

This time last year
I first noticed a lump
in my right breast
I tried to ignore it

As it continued to grow
I knew I could no longer ignore it
and so began my battle with Cancer

The journey has been long
and difficult
but I have been amazed at the strength and compassion
from all those involved
the Doctors, nurses, patients, all a special part of me now

The road I have had to follow
has been made easier through the endless love
of family and friends

This time last year I found myself in a dark place
and now I find myself surrounded in light, and in hope.

I am so thankful for the prayers and the love
and I thank God for each moment of my life.

that I am never
so afraid of dying
that I fail to truly and fully
live.

you are able to lift me
with your wings of grace.

Parenthood

It seemed so easy when she was a baby
now a teenager it seems a mountain to climb which seems so high at times
I pray for wisdom
I pray for patience
I pray for Angels to watch over her
I pray for Gods sweet and gentle grace.
