suddenly remembering you are not home
wanting to share the funny things
and the sorrows that life brings
keep finding myself trying to reach you
but having to accept I cannot do so
for you are far away in Heaven and I am still here on Earth
I find myself looking for your smile
aching to hear your voice
knowing I will have to wait until that day we meet again
at Heavens gate.
missing you mom, now and for the rest of my life.
